Two types of tiles are available: single-piece designs and “splits.” Single-piece tiles can be used as wall art, trivets, or both; they are finished in walnut oil, which is both heat- and food-safe. Splits are two-piece tiles joined together by very thin strips of contrasting woods. Splits are designed as wall art and are not recommended for table use. Most splits are finished in lacquer.
Although all tiles are priced separately, multiples of the same or very similar designs can be arranged in a variety of patterns to create unique and lively wall displays. For just two ideas, check a three-tile display and a five-tile display.
